The Open Apparel Registry (OAR)
Has Launched!
A message from OAR:
The Open Apparel Registry is live!
Following a beta in 2018 and a series of improvements based on user feedback, today marks the official launch of our free, open source, global map of apparel facilities. We’re grateful for the support and interest you’ve shown in the OAR to date. Now we encourage you to visit the site, search the map, contribute a supplier list (if you have one) and explore facility affiliations.
We have many developments planned for 2019 and beyond so please keep an eye out as we update you on our progress. Once again, we’re thankful for your support of the OAR and we look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback.
All the best,
The OAR Team

INNOVATIONS
ECO FASHION SHOW
Introducing the
INNOVATIONS 2018 ECO FASHION DESIGN CHALLENGE
Innovations Eco Fashion Design challenges Twin Cities design students to redefine what sustainable can mean for fashion. By exploring other organizations unique sustainable projects outside of fashion, students will create two looks loosely inspired by an element of sustainability that these projects focus around. Be it water, energy, technology, agriculture, or waste designers will take their garments beyond the limits of fabric, all while including sustainable and ethical practices to the runway. The students work will be judged project runway style—as well as voted on by you, with our People's Choice Award.
